Espaillat, 71, has consistently criticized Chevalier’s past social media posts, particularly her use of the phrase “F**k Kamala Harris” in September 2021. He framed this as evidence of a younger generation’s lack of policy focus, arguing that Chevalier’s remarks reflected a trend of impulsive rhetoric in modern politics. “Words really matter,” he emphasized, “and this was just a couple of years ago.”
