Fourth suspect arrested over Jewish charity ambulance arson attack
Fourth Suspect Arrested in Jewish Charity Ambulance Arson Case
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed the arrest of a fourth individual linked to the recent arson incident targeting ambulances owned by a Jewish charity in north London. This suspect was apprehended at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning, with police escorting the person from the premises. The court was informed that four people were involved in the attack, though only three have been formally charged so far.
Charges Against Three Suspects
Three individuals appeared in court this morning and were remanded in custody. They include Hamza Iqbal, 20, and Rehan Khan, 19, both British nationals, as well as a 17-year-old boy with British-Pakistani heritage. All three face charges of arson with intent to damage property and acting recklessly toward potential harm to life.
The court heard that the attack was described as “premeditated and targeted against the Jewish community.”
Earlier this week, two men—aged 45 and 47—were detained in connection with the case and granted bail until late April. The latest arrest adds to the growing list of individuals suspected of planning the incident, which left Jewish-owned ambulances damaged in a deliberate act of vandalism.
