Official confirmation from Pakistani authorities regarding the total number of fatalities remains pending. Meanwhile, search and recovery operations continue for the six climbers whose whereabouts are still being determined.

Emergency personnel expressed apprehensions to CNN on Saturday regarding the possibility of additional avalanches disrupting rescue operations.
