Murder Charge over Primrose Hill Stabbing

A 21-year-old man, Finbar Sullivan, died from knife wounds after being stabbed in Primrose Hill. The incident occurred near the area’s viewing point on Tuesday. The Metropolitan Police announced that Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, from Southbury Road, Enfield, was arrested on Friday and formally charged with murder on Sunday.

Ogunyankinnu is scheduled to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aiding the offender but was later released without further charges. The police confirmed the investigation remains active.

“All of his friends said he was the light, the leader. His friends’ parents loved him. This is why it’s so tragic,” shared Chris Sullivan, 65, Finbar’s father, speaking to BBC London.

Another individual, in his 20s, was also discovered with stab injuries on Regent’s Park Road. He was hospitalized, with medical assessments indicating his condition would not result in severe harm.
